Our client also offers services such as consultancy, training, testing, and digital transformation. Your new role Identify and analyse equipment conditions. Recommend solutions to minimise unplanned downtime. Ensure commissioning and service work is safe, high-quality, and profitable. Identify and pursue new and repeat business opportunities. Develop strong client relationships and gather information about their processes. Seek opportunities for new spare parts and service work during site visits. Collaborate with Service and Spares Department to develop new business strategies. Attend customer sites in QLD and NT, including after-hours call-outs. Supervise company employees and contract personnel at customer sites and Queensland workshops. Ensure compliance with OH&S management systems and site requirements. Lead teams successfully deliver service and commissioning work with high safety standards. Conduct preventative maintenance and recommend solutions. Coordinate with site contacts to prioritise work for required plant availability. Participate in workshop duties as needed. Inspect equipment for quality assurance and recommission after maintenance. Guide company and site personnel to follow OEM maintenance practices. Test screens for natural flexural mode frequency and stroke motion. Collaborate with engineering to resolve site equipment issues and optimise/upgrades existing equipment. Commission new equipment to meet OEM specifications and requirements. What you'll need to succeed Mechanical Trade Certificate Certificate III in Engineering Experience in a mechanical maintenance position or similar Passion for high-quality service Valid driver's licence Living locally in the Rockhampton Region Ability to pass a pre-employment medical What you'll get in return In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary package with overtime and a tool of the trade vehicle.
