The successful candidate wil investigate, troubleshoot and test the impacts of changes to any of the components supporting enterprise applications to maintain defined service levels.
How you will be assessed
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated ability in developing and managing ITIL Service Management processes, primarily incident/problem/test/change and configuration management. (SFIA: USUP Level 3, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 3, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 2)
* Experience in managing the day to day system administration of enterprise applications. (SFIA: ASUP Level 4)
* Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
* Demonstrated ability in meeting customer needs and expectations
* Understanding or proven ability to quickly learn impacts of other technologies or environments such as databases, servers and networking.
Specific Working Conditions:
* This position may be required to work at different sites
* Participation in on-call arrangements may be required for this role.
