About The Role
The Maitland Hospital's Emergency Department attends to a significant number of patients daily, spanning various age groups and presenting issues. The department boasts an exceptional team culture, providing robust support for your transition. Each shift, a Clinical Nurse Unit Manager will guide you, complemented by a dedicated group of Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and Nurse Practitioners. The ED operates as a highly collaborative and multidisciplinary team, involving not only doctors and nurses but also administration staff, social workers, physiotherapists, pharmacists, occupational therapists, and invaluable ancillary staff. Together, we contribute to the seamless functioning of the ED. The team is characterised by its patient-centred approach, fostering a dynamic and cohesive work environment. Additionally, the department benefits from the oversight of a Nurse Unit Manager, Medical Co-Directors, and an Operational Nurse Manager for Critical Care.

Where You'll Be Working
* Successful candidates will be required to work within the Emergency Department including the Emergency Short stay Unit (ESSU).
