Lead civil works on a major solar farm project, including road works and earth works on a huge camp construction. The Role and Opportunity We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join a leading renewable energy project. This is an excellent opportunity to work client-side on a large-scale solar farm in its late-stage development, with construction set to begin in early 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the civil EPC team, overseeing all civil and road works, and leading the construction of an 800-person camp for the project. DIDO from Brisbane or Toowoomba region OR FIFO from NSW or VIC 10/4 Roster Travel on company time Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the civil EPC team, ensuring timely and quality execution of civil works, including road construction - internal and external, earthworks, and foundations. Oversee the development of the 800-person camp, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely and efficiently. Provide technical guidance and support to the civil team, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, providing regular updates to senior management. Key Requirements: Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, with a strong background in road works, earthworks, and civil construction management. We are open to a Mechanical Engineer but they must have previous solar farm experience. Knowledge and experience with solar farm projects are highly advantageous.
