The Role:
It is the vision of BKI to be acknowledged as a leading educator and trainer in work and life skills, making a real difference for students and industry across the communities we serve. The Administration Officer supports the Corrections Portfolio, across 7 Correctional Sites and liaises with the Management team at Essendon Campus. The role is responsible for the processing of new student admissions from application and assessment right through to induction, enrolment and completion.
We are excited about you because you have:
1. Proficiency in a broad range of the Institute's support functions (finance, student records, purchasing, payroll etc.) and Government and host organisations data bases of highly confidential matters.
2. Proficient user of Student Management System, Argos reporting system, JETS (Justice Education Training System, PETES/OSN, Gateway, USI Registry and Microsoft office suite.
3. Ability to work within strict timelines, multi-task and prioritise work requirements for self and administrative team.
4. Sound understanding of the Vocational Education and Training compliance and the Standards for RTO's, and experience navigating the Department of Education Training Website (training.gov.au)
