About the role
This position is a key member of the Employment Relations team, delivering a wide range of operational advice and service to the business. The position operates closely with the Employment Relations Manager, who has overall responsibility for ER support, including ER advisory, remuneration and contracts, HR Support Desk, and compliance.
As the Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for providing high level administrative and technical support to the Employment Relations Team. With a broad range of actions and projects to work on, every week brings opportunity to develop your skills in HR.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
1. Triage and respond to HR Support Desk tickets;
2. Administration assistance in performance and conduct processes;
3. Development and/or amend position descriptions, workplace policies and procedures;
4. Compliance reporting and processing;
5. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
6. Preparation and process of employment contracts;
7. Assistance/support in all areas of ER;

Essential requirements
12. A degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience;
13. Two years’ experience providing employment relations advice and/or support;
14. A demonstrated understanding of the general provisions of the Fair Work Act 2009;
15. Experience in award/enterprise agreement interpretation and policy and procedure review will be highly regarded;
