THE ROLE
Joining our vastly diverse Northwest division, manage the delivery of our major marine infrastructure wharf remediation project at Finucane Island. For one of Australia’s Tier 1 mining clientele BHP, you will lead a team of industry recognised professionals. Overseeing the onsite trade effort whilst ensuring project delivery timelines are met.
You will also:
* Coordinate and manage a team of supervisors to ensure work is carried out according to project plans and budgets
* Focus on overall project objectives and communicate these to team members
* Ensure all project operations are compliant with company management systems
* Identify project resourcing requirements in a proactive, efficient manner
* Ensure work is consistently delivered at a high standard and on time, even in challenging circumstances
* Ensure all variations are recorded
* Demonstrate and model the commitment to HSECQ procedures
* Participate in workshops, operations meetings as well as conduct regular pre-start toolbox meetings
ABOUT YOU
A positive front-line leader, with a personal commitment to support the values of our business
Rope Access, Scaffolding and Structural Mechanical Electrical background is highly advantageous
Trade background and experience in site supervision of construction, remediation and refurbishment projects.
A Cert IV in OHS and a Cert IV in Leadership and Management is desirable
