Help close the gap and provide continuity of service to a large Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Based in Morwell the heart of the Latrobe Valley is very close to nearby national parks, lakes, and rainforests and home to one of Gippsland's major cultural facilities, the Latrobe Regional Gallery.
Required Dates: Locum ongoing role possiable any 2 weeks upwards
Practice Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch. 20-minute appointments.
Fees: From $1400 per day or 70% billings, self-contained accommodation will be provided and travel costs reimbursed.
Role: Providing sessional-only care to mainly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, their families, the elderly, and the wider community population across east Gippsland. Some of the main health issues you will experience in this varied role include; complex health conditions, chronic disease, diabetes, mental health, and some AOD.
Working alongside 2 part-time GPs. You will be supported by a Chronic Disease care coordinator, practice manager, reception/admin staff, and visiting Allied Health specialists. Also support from their Sale clinic
The clinic uses Medical Director.
