They evaluate issues related to financial services, credit, investment scams, corporate governance, insolvency, insider trading, continuous disclosure, and market manipulation to determine appropriate enforcement actions, ensuring consumer confidence and market integrity.
The roleAs An Analyst, You WillReview, assess, and report on complex misconduct, breach, and statutory reports.Escalate issues to manage regulatory risks appropriately.Assist Senior Analysts with complex inquiries and misconduct assessments.Coordinate inquiries using internal and external databases, liaising with external parties, and utilizing ASIC's powers to aid report assessments.Communicate with the public, tailoring messages for various audiences.Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on matters related to the Corporations Act, ASIC Act, and relevant legislation.Share knowledge to develop team skills.Maintain accurate records in internal databases.About YouIn this role, you will review and assess complex misconduct, breach, and statutory reports, ensuring timely and accurate evaluations. You will escalate issues as needed to manage regulatory risks and assist Senior Analysts with more complex inquiries. You will coordinate inquiries using internal and external databases, liaise with external parties, and use ASIC's powers when necessary. Clear communication with the public, legal research, and providing recommendations on relevant legislation are key responsibilities. Additionally, you'll share knowledge to develop your team and maintain accurate records.
In Addition, You Will HaveA relevant bachelor's degree in law, finance, accounting, or related discipline.Experience in interpreting legislation and applying processes and procedures.Experience in case management.Experience presenting information to different audiences using business writing and verbal communication skills.Experience in adapting and responding to change and the ability to cope with the pressure of high workload volumes.View the position description for more information or click 'apply' to start your application.
