We're on the lookout for driven, collaborative individuals who are ready to make an impact in the pharmaceutical sales industry and align with our core values of integrity, collaboration, and the highest levels of customer service.The Role & Responsibilities:As the Sales Manager - Ophthalmology, you will:Lead and mentor a team of 8 Specialist Sales Representatives across Australia to achieve and exceed sales targets.Develop and execute a strategic plan to maximize sales opportunities and expand the company's market presence.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists.Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure the team effectively promotes our ophthalmic products and delivers value-driven solutions for patients.Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements within ophthalmology to keep the team informed and competitive.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to align strategies and achieve shared goals.Maintain compliance with Medicines Australia guidelines and internal company policies.This is a 12-month FTC role, with an anticipated start date in January 2025.Skills & Experience Required:Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales management, with a track record of leading teams to achieve sales targets.Completion of Medicines Australia certification.A life sciences or equivalent tertiary degree - desirable.Previous experience in ophthalmology or related medical fields.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Analytical abilities to assess data, identify opportunities, and implement effective strategies.Benefits & Perks:We offer more than just a job – we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can make a real impact.
