About the Role
The Facilities Manager is a source subject matter expertise and is responsible for the line management of staff within their portfolio. This role ensures that staff and volunteers receive prompt, customer-oriented facility maintenance and asset service delivery, including managing fleet services.
Duties
Some of the duties will involve:
* Oversee and manage the facilities, assets, and vehicles, including handling contracts and vendors.
* Handle the administration of property leases and tenancies.
* Manage and administer vehicle fleet
* Oversee daily operations and management of properties, including maintenance, malfunction handling, preventative measures, and project management.
* Implement and manage the preventive maintenance schedule for assets and fleet vehicles
* Proactively ensure maintenance requests are attended to promptly.
* Carry out portfolio reporting and administration.
* Act as a critical contact point for both internal and external parties.
* Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
* Provide leadership and support to direct reports
Skills & Experience
To be successful in securing this opportunity, you will have the following:
* 4-5 years' experience in a Facilities Manger role - exposure to multiple sites work would be beneficial
* Experience in facility maintenance service delivery
* Experience in leading asset and facilities teams
* Experience in leading and managing collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
* Experience assessing and managing risk
* Experience in managing portfolio areas across multiple sites
* Exceptional interpersonal skill
* You hold a valid Victorian Divers Licence
