SA Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time, Ongoing Psychosocial Support Worker to join our dynamic and motivated Mental Health team within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (LHN). This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of comprehensive, evidence-based, and recovery-oriented services tailored to the needs of our local community.
As a Mental Health Psychosocial Support Worker, you will work under the supervision of clinical professionals, providing non-clinical, integrated psychosocial support services to mental health consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings. Your primary focus will be assisting consumers and service providers in understanding the concept of recovery and rehabilitation, serving as a recovery and wellness resource.
Through the provision of direct day-to-day tasks, you will support consumers in accomplishing their stated goals within their care plan. Your practical approach and commitment to fostering a recovery-oriented environment will play a crucial role in empowering individuals on their journey towards mental wellbeing.
