Overview of the Role and Package
A highly competitive salary package is being offered for this position, with a base salary ranging from $300,000 to $400,000 per annum. In addition to the base salary, a generous relocation allowance will be provided to support the successful candidate and their family.
The working week for this role is 40 hours, with a flexible and supportive work environment. About the Mental Health Service
This role offers the opportunity to join a large Victorian public health service that has an excellent reputation for providing safe and high-quality care across the lifespan to approximately one-quarter of Melbourne's population.
The service provides a wide range of mental health services, including acute inpatient units, community facilities, alcohol and drug services, child and adolescent services, counselling and rehabilitation services. Specialist services are also provided through psychological therapy services, an eating disorder service, gender dysphoria clinic, and a perinatal infant inpatient unit.
This exciting role will see you working in a specialised adult mental health unit, delivering psychiatric services to patients aged between 18 and 65 years.
Key Responsibilities
As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services. This will involve providing leadership to the assessment, treatment, and consultation team, supporting research, education, training, and supervision activities at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contributing to service development.
