Technical Sales Representative Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in technical sales in the fresh produce industry. Engineers looking to move into technical sales or technical sales representatives with experience in capital equipment sales are encouraged to apply.
Reporting to the Technical Sales Director, the objective of this role is to develop sales on the Australian market by maintaining the existing customer portfolio while also gaining new customers.
Key responsibilities: Because you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, it is vital that you are a "people person" and regard teamwork and customer service as your number one priority
Key accountabilities of the role include, and are not limited to;
Prospecting for new customers across Australia. Responding to customer enquiries.Analyzing the customer's needs and technical specifications to develop a customized offer perfectly adapted to their needs. Preparation of compelling presentations, quotations and commercial offers.Take the lead and follow the project throughout, from qualification to installation and full payment.Work in collaboration with our regional agentsProvide weekly reports on activity and pipeline progression to the Australian Management. Attributes: The successful applicant will be a professional and reliable individual with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar technical sales role. Your strength of character, tenacity and availability to travel are essential to succeed in this role.
You must be an excellent communicator and have the genuine ability to build rapport with customers, create a positive impression with them and provide a consistently high level of service.
