About the role: We are seeking a Legal Administration Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers exposure to various aspects of commercial law including, leasing, property acquisition, contracts management and franchising across our group of companies. Our geographical footprint spans operations across the States of Queensland, Northern NSW and Western Australia. We have offices based in Cairns and Brisbane.

Responsibilities in this position may include but are not limited to: Coordinating commercial lease renewalsManaging lease negotiations and rent reviewsAssisting with the preparation, drafting and review of legal documents, contracts, and correspondenceMonitoring and management of critical datesLiaising with clients, internal and external stakeholdersUpdate reporting databases, templates and training materialsFile maintenance – opening, closing and archiving files (electronic and physical filing)General administrative supportManaging case files to ensure accuracy and complianceMonitoring routine matter processes and anticipating/prompting key actionsDrive excellence initiatives through process improvementsTo be successful in this role: Ideally 1-2 years of experience with commercial leases (preferred but not mandatory)Highly organized and detail-orientedAbility to manage multiple legal tasks with efficiencyProactive, self-sufficient, and capable of anticipating team needsStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeam player who can work with diverse stakeholdersIf this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply.
