Working within my client's Sustaining Capital division, assisting contractor partners with the planning, coordination, and execution of construction packages. Your leadership and construction knowledge will be essential in achieving safe, timely, and efficient project results.Responsibilities:Work closely with the project delivery team, including the Project Lead, Construction Advisors, Contractors, and Safety and Quality Advisors, to ensure smooth execution.Daily monitoring of project progress, adherence to schedules, costs, and completion of contractor scopes.Ensure compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, project timelines, and HSE management systems.Review and compile quality documentation from contractors and advisors, and provide timely responses to TQs/RFIs.Manage relationships with site stakeholders, including shutdown planning and construction workgroups, while promoting safety initiatives for project execution.Supervise the safe implementation of major shutdowns, ensuring alignment with operational needs and minimizing disruptions.Collaborate with commissioning and operational readiness teams during the startup of plant and equipment.Requirements:A degree in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by extensive project engineering experience in mining, brownfield, and shutdown settings, including experience with chutes.A demonstrated history of successfully managing complex projects, overseeing budgets, and achieving commercial objectives.A strong dedication to safety and a proactive approach to cultivating an inclusive team environment.Proficient in managing external consultants, contractors, and suppliers, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.A keen eye for detail, paired with a goal-oriented mindset and self-motivated attitude.ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCY OR CITIZENSHIP WITHIN AUSTRALIA.
