A fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Secretary / Manager to step into a growing public practice accounting firm - make this role your own Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for overseeing and leading both their Corporate Secretarial and Administration teams, ensuring the Firm adheres to legal and regulatory requirements as well as coordinates the Firm’s administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities - Providing high-level professional administrative support and assistance to ensure the efficient running of head office in the south east Providing customer service to clients and external stakeholders as required Ensuring Company complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and maintains a high standard of corporate governance at all times Advising directors on their duties and governance matters and ensuring board decisions are implemented Ensuring appropriate document management is implemented Helping to manage risks by maintaining accurate records and following proper procedures Supervise Corporate Secretarial and Administration teams (both onshore and offshore) to provide professional trustee and other financial services to clients Proactively conducts regular internal meetings to plan work and on-going projects and deadlines with the team Complete employee performance evaluations and recommend appropriate career development plans and rewards About you - Previous experience in a corporate secretarial or similar role is essential Understanding of Xero, Now Infinity or CAS 360 will be highly preferred High attention to detail and organisational skills Previous people management experience is essential Previous experience in a corporate office environment Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Collaborative approach with strong time management and prioritisation skills What's on offer - Very relaxed Partners, Managers and a great team environment Attractive salary package Plenty of training and support A growing firm where you will develop and progress in your career Amazing work life / balance Applicants must have permanent working rights in Australia.
