About the role
This position is a full-time, fixed term role in the Parks team, based from the Narooma Depot. The main duties will include:
* Preparing and completing Park’s projects, involving manual labouring tasks.
* Supporting staff and contractors involved in Parks projects and providing customer service to the public.
* Doing your part in the ongoing improvement of Council parks and surrounds.
Salary Information
Total remuneration for the role is in the range $2,593.04 to $2,794.97 gross per fortnight consisting of:
* $2,287.76 to $2,468.86 base salary
* $37.84 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance
* $267.44 to $288.27 superannuation (at 11.5%)

About you
You like being outdoors, have a good attitude and experience doing physical labour and using a range of hand and power tools. If you can communicate clearly, take pride in a job well-done and are keen to learn, you’ll be a stand-out. The ideal candidate will:
* Have a Cert III in Horticulture and/or industry experience
* Have a background in a Parks environment and awareness of machinery limitations and productivity.
* Be able to do physical labour tasks and be a team-player.
