What the role is:
Senior Manager/ Manager, Built Systems
What you will be working on:
You will be part of the team developing and managing a suite of built application systems which enable business users to exchange data across different stakeholders, manage engineering workflows, collaborate on engineering drawings and models, and track infrastructure projects progress and safety issues. These systems play a pivotal role to LTA in delivering infrastructure projects in a consistent, compliant, and safe manner.
System Development
You will undertake system conceptualisation, solutioning and architecting, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business outcomes in a cost-efficient manner. You will manage system procurement which includes tendering, implementation and quality assurance. You will manage IT contracts and provide technical advisory, ensuring the contractors meet contractual obligations and compliance requirements leading to successful system delivery.
System Operation & Maintenance
You will manage operations and maintenance works, including audits, risk assessment and ensuring the contractors meet service delivery levels. You will also manage service requests and change requests to meet evolving business and IT compliance needs. From time to time, you will be involved in system rationalisation efforts with various stakeholders to plan for future system directions and roadmaps.
Technology Exploration & Prototyping
You will work with in-house software engineering team and relevant contractors in exploring new technologies/products and developing Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)/prototypes to mitigate technological risks and validate business needs.
What we are looking for:
* Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
* At least 7 years’ experience in SDLC and IT project management
* Demonstrated experience implementing and managing enterprise IT systems
* Working experience with Agile Methodology and DevSecOps
* Working experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Experience with Government Cloud Platforms (e.g. GCC, GCC+) is a plus
* Knowledge of software products (e.g. LeapThought, Bentley, Autodesk) is a plus
* Project Management, Agile or Cloud related certification is a plus
* Experience in service journey exercise and design thinking is a plus
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
* Candidates with more experience might be considered for senior roles
