Uplift Psychological Services – Redfern NSW
Uplift Psychological Services was established in 2007 with the mission to provide psychological services to those populations most in need, in a private practice setting.
We have a strong, positive community reputation for providing financially accessible, high quality and professional psychological care for people within a wide range of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander; Culturally and Linguistically Diverse; LGBTQIA+ and TNBGD; disability and other communities. We work with people experiencing a wide range of mental health issues.
As such we are able to offer new graduates and early career psychologists exposure to the widest range of people and problems in a supportive learning environment.
We are excited to be able to currently offer full and part time positions to AHPRA and Medicare registered candidates, in our Redfern office. We are seeking Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Registrars with Medicare registration, to work a minimum of two days per week to a maximum of a full week. We have a long-term track record of successful supervision of registrars. We have a small cohort of registrars already in training and are seeking people to join them. We have three registered supervisors on staff and offer some of the best client exposure possible to an early career psychologist.
We are also looking for people who are part time employed or semi-retired who are seeking a high value part time opportunity for one or two days a week, particularly those who perhaps have employment elsewhere but are looking to add value or meaning to their lives, or those scaling back who still seek involvement with peers and clients.
Opportunities are available for employees or contractors; hours are flexible 9 -5, with no evening or weekend work. 90% of your time will be spent seeing clients.
Candidates with any level of experience are welcome to apply. You will join a great work environment and have exposure to a variety of populations and mental health issues in a supportive environment. Being bi/multilingual is an advantage.
If you are passionate about the mental health of those most in need, we look forward to hearing from you. Join our diverse, exciting, and supportive team.
We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, who are the traditional owners and ongoing custodians of the land we work on.
