If so, this opportunity to join our Commercial Property Events Claims team could be your next career move!This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to move into a long-term position company wide.As a Commercial Property Claims Officer, you will be managing a portfolio of commercial property natural hazard claims, predominately from recent wild weather events. You will take ownership of the claim from lodgement to finalisation whilst delivering a Best-in-Market claims experience to our customers. You will be dedicated to helping our customers get back to focusing on their business after a loss, whilst providing outstanding customer service and claims management solutions.To set you up for success, you will be supported through an extensive onboarding program.What you’ll do :Managing inbound and outbound calls from customers, suppliers and intermediaries (including brokers) relating to commercial property claimsCase managing a portfolio of claims post lodgement to finalisation with accountability for delivering exceptional customer service and managing claim costProviding timely claim updates to customers, intermediaries and claims stakeholdersReviewing reports to identify next steps for the claimCommunicating with various internal and external stakeholdersUsing product disclosure statements to determine claims acceptanceResolving internal and external issues and complaintsRecording accurate claims information into claims management systemsWhat you’ll bring :A demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes and identify opportunities to reduce customer effortThe ability to take ownership and resolve customer issuesSuperior time management skills and ability to prioritiseAbility to clearly and confidently negotiate with customers and stakeholdersHigh resiliency and ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environmentOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrong computer literacy with the ability to learn and switch between multi-platform claims systemsStrong desire to continuously learn and progress your career forwardStrong commitment and a high degree of integrity to help meet and exceed customer expectationAbility to work well autonomously and within a team environmentWhat We Offer :At Suncorp, we prioritize our employees’ wellbeing and growth.
