As a Business Development Manager with the Hager Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans to drive growth in Western Australia. This will involve managing the WA sales teams, collaborating with senior customer representatives, and identifying opportunities to expand our presence in the region.
Your Mission
* Develop a comprehensive sales strategy for Western Australia in consultation with the National Sales Manager, aligning with business and marketing goals.
* Implement sales plans to achieve targeted revenue growth, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
* Maintain and develop key accounts, establish new customer relationships, and ensure effective communication across all levels of customer organization.
* Design and implement pricing and margin strategies to optimize sales performance.
* Lead and manage the WA sales team, providing coaching and support to ensure continuous improvement and success.
* Engage with industry associations, promote our brand, and foster strong relationships with key customers to enhance our company profile.
* Monitor and evaluate sales representative visit programs, provide guidance and training, and implement succession plans to ensure long-term growth.
Your Profile
* Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets, with a proven track record of winning and maintaining significant new business accounts.
* Able to build and maintain long-term, profitable relationships across all levels of customer organization, from regional managers to store management and staff.
* Strong planning and implementation skills, with the ability to deliver planned outcomes and adapt to changing circumstances.
* Experience in managing employees, preferably in the electrical wholesale market, with a focus on coaching and staff development.
* Excellent communication skills, motivation to lead a team, and knowledge of CRM systems.
* Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
