Position: Automation & Controls Field Engineer Industry: Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Engineering) Employment Type: Full time Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 + OT (OTE $150k per year) Our client is an international Maritime and Defense Technology company with facilities across the globe.They deliver technology solutions across all marine sectors including Merchant, Offshore, Subsea, Naval, and Defense.We are seeking an Automation & Controls Field Engineer to support their Australian and worldwide customers based out of Perth, Western Australia.The ideal candidate should have experience with both Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS) as well as propulsion/steering control systems.Hands-on service or operational experience on the main engine and thrusters is an added advantage for this position.You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this position due to the nature of the work, which typically involves Naval Defense; unfortunately, we are not offering sponsorship for this position.The Requirements: Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation.Relevant experience may substitute for formal education.Experience with both Integrated Control Monitoring System (ICMS) as well as propulsion/steering control systems.Field experience in Alarm Monitoring and Control Systems, along with good knowledge of computer hardware/peripherals and basic software.Focus on customer support, commissioning, and service on assigned Maritime Merchant & Automation product range.Responsible for generating service reports, updating drawings, cable information database, and other relevant documents.Provides remote guidance/product support to customers, commissions and manages projects of refit/retrofit projects, and provides backend support to the service team.Must be an Australian Citizen for this position as there is Naval Defense work involved.What's on Offer: Base salary range: $110k - $120k + Super + OT (OTE up to $150k per annum).Perth-based role with travel across Australia and internationally.Top training and development opportunities with a global organization.Only work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.All lunches are paid at 1 hour per day, which falls into OT rates.One paid RDO Day can be taken each month at a time to suit you.Travel allowances paid for remote and international travel.Please apply by clicking the apply now button; only applicants who have full working rights in Australia will be considered for this position.#J-18808-Ljbffr
