Overview
The Paid Media & Affiliates Manager will work within our Digital Marketing team across the Asia Pacific division (Australia, New Zealand and Korean markets).
The role will be responsible for successfully managing the strategy, execution and measurement of always on and brand activation paid media and affiliate marketing. The ideal candidate has a passion for building innovative and integrated media campaigns to drive always on activity and support key marketing initiatives.
This role is hybrid, based in our Brisbane office with 2 days’ work-from-home. This role is a parental leave contract for 6 months.
Responsibilities
1. Lead digital marketing projects such as new agency onboarding, attribution modelling, creative automation and CRM integration. Partner with the Digital Marketing Director to establish a roadmap for projects.
2. Partner with the Digital Marketing Director to manage the paid media and affiliate budget and forecast. Work closely with the agencies to ensure budgets are adhered to.
3. Manage 1 x direct report and provide regular touch bases, coaching and oversight.
4. Build strategic full funnel media recommendations across the Foot Locker APAC portfolio inclusive of channel recommendations, content, flighting, target parameters and investment.
5. Adopt a proactive approach to paid media and affiliates, working closely with partners (agencies, Google, Meta, TikTok and more) to recognize and pitch opportunities within the business.
6. Lead external agencies in the conceptualization and execution of cross-channel media plans that deliver growth and efficiency across the APAC region. You’ll be willing to gets hands-on at all stages from brief to execution.
7. Partner with our affiliate marketing agency to maximise publisher relationships, drive incrementality and trial new initiatives.
8. Partner with our agencies to design audience modelling and targeting plans that realise differentiation and maximize effectiveness across the purchase funnel and consumer journey.
9. Support internal brand and design teams and external creative agencies and brand partners with campaign, creative and general industry best practices.
10. Work closely with partners to investigate new media channels and industry best practice, provide insights to wider business and implement new channels.
11. Monitor and report on key KPIs on routine basis and ensure ongoing optimisation of media investment.
12. Evolve our standardised measurement and reporting disciplines, inclusive of ROI modelling, individualised campaign KPIs and core brand metrics.
13. Serve as subject matter expert for all things paid media and affiliate marketing and act as a resource across the organization and with our brand partners.
Qualifications
14. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, another relevant degree or equivalent experience.
15. 3+ years experience in paid media management. Experience with affiliates is a bonus.
16. Experienced in using Google Analytics (Adobe Experience Manager is a plus) to critique performance and make marketing decisions.
17. Experience in quickly learning technical platforms.
18. You’ll have a deep understanding of the broader Google Ads Network and platforms and Meta Ads Manager. You’ve had experience running PMAX and ASC ads. Ideally you’ve had hands-on experience with media buying.
19. Excellent cross-functional communicator. Experience in translating complex digital marketing concepts to a range of audiences.
20. Experience in creating reports and dashboards. Hands-on experience with PowerBI and Looker Studio a bonus.
21. Experience in implementing and troubleshooting Martech integrations like CAPI.
22. Experience in partnering with creative stakeholders to deliver best-practice advertising assets.
23. Experience with implementing and maintaining feed management tools.
24. A willingness to be hands on at all stages of project implementation.
25. Interest in sneakers, retail or youth (Gen-Z) culture encouraged but not mandatory.
