About the role
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you will be supporting young active participants with both complex physical and social needs. If you enjoy a varied working day that includes outdoor activities as well as community access. Your role will be to engage with our people and encourage and support them to get the most out of each day!
Support categories include assistance with daily life, transport, assistance with social and community participation, improved daily living skills etc.
Your ability to cover a range of shifts including sleepovers, weekends is highly desirable.
Pre-employment requirements:
* Minimum Qualification in Certificate 3 in Individual support is desirable but on the job training will be provided
* Any previous experience either working with or those shaped by your own life experiences are highly valued, these can include those of a carer/parent
* Evidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport or birth certificate
* A current valid Driver's License and an insured and registered vehicle
* Satisfactory Police Records Check
* Blue Card and Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current or must obtain prior to employment)
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate – free online certificate
