We are looking for a motivated Learning and Development Administrator to join our client's team!
In this role, you'll play an essential part in supporting and coordinating the successful delivery of our training programs, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience for our learners.
Responsibilities Include: Training Coordination: Work closely with internal stakeholders to assess training needs and develop detailed plans for delivery, ensuring all logistics are arranged.
Team Support: Assist the Learning and Development Leadership Team with escalations related to Compass, our Learning Management System (LMS).
Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate costs, and manage contracts and compliance.
Learning Management System Administration: Oversee the Compass LMS administration, including creating processes, managing workflows, and acting as a go-to system expert.
Invoice and Procurement Support: Handle all purchasing and invoice processing for L&D activities, ensuring timely reconciliation and accurate chargebacks to divisions.
Project Support: Coordinate program delivery and act as the key administrator for all training-related activities—such as scheduling, catering, room bookings, and prework.
Process Improvement: Develop and maintain effective L&D administrative processes and user guides, always looking for ways to streamline and improve.
Promote L&D Services: Work with Corporate Communications to market L&D services and increase awareness through channels like Yammer and Waterways.
Budget and Compliance Management: Track L&D spending and compliance, ensuring all activities meet organizational standards and escalating issues when necessary.
About You: To thrive in this role, you'll have: Experience: At least 2 years in a Learning Administration role or similar position.
Tech Savvy: Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong comfort level with technology, including VR or broadcasting tools, is a plus.
Learning Management System Experience: Prior experience managing an LMS, preferably Compass.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently within structured organizational processes.
Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship-building skills, with experience managing vendor contracts and working collaboratively with stakeholders.
Attention to Detail and Time Management: Meticulous in handling data and documentation, with a natural ability to manage deadlines effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service at all levels.
Analytical Skills: Capable of problem-solving and making data-driven decisions when required.
