Job Title: Communications Officer

Role Overview: The Communications Officer will be partnering with the clients Operations division to undertake internal communication project activities.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Work with operational managers to prepare and deliver strategies and tactics for communicating port operations-related initiatives and projects to employees and stakeholders.
2. Research, write, and deliver internal communications materials and products and assist operational managers and supervisors in effective internal communications.
3. Assist in the delivery of communications training.
4. Liaise with other departments within the organisation to collect and process information to include in the client’s publications and to contribute through the preparation of communications initiatives.
5. Schedule and undertake activities in line with communications planning.
6. Take photographs and video where required for use in communication activities.
Essential to be successful in this role;
7. Tertiary or industry qualification in a relevant field.
8. Proven track record in developing and executing project communication strategies, including the delivery of on-ground activities that deliver practical outcomes.
9. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
10. Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
11. Experience in an operational environment desirable.
12. Current valid NPC or able to obtain one
