We provide fully integrated environmental and social assessment and management services including concept and feasibility, technical assessment, consultation, approvals, delivery, operation, and decommissioning.About the Opportunity:Reporting to the Human Resources Lead, the HR Business Partner will offer timely, accurate, and practical support on all HR matters to designated areas and other parts of the business as needed. This role requires close collaboration with the national HR team and key business leaders to align with and meet the business’s needs.The role covers a wide range of HR generalist responsibilities, including the development, implementation, and driving of HR frameworks, policies, procedures, and services that support Umwelt’s objectives and strategic initiatives. In addition to HR Business Partner responsibilities, this role may also be assigned individual HR service functions to oversee and support all team members. Success in this position is defined by delivering high-quality, responsive, and professional HR support to both leadership and team members.Key Responsibilities:Develop, drive, and deliver on key HR strategic initiatives and projects to achieve people-related organisational goalsSupporting the provision of advice, coaching, and guidance to leadership teams and other stakeholders in relation to all HR related mattersDriving and delivering on key recruitment needs identified by the businessManaging all on/off boarding tasks: updating registers, conducting HR inductions, drafting offers and position descriptions, and securing approvalsLeading key programs on employee engagement, rewards, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, and talent managementSupporting managers in setting priorities, driving key outcomes and values, and delivering business resultsPartnering with managers to ensure they understand relevant personnel data and support them with strategies to address areas of improvementSupporting others within the national HR teamMaintaining and tracking all relevant HR data and recordsAssisting leaders and team members with performance reviews and systemsUndertaking relevant performance management processes in line with legislation and best practiceEnsuring training and development outcomes are achievedEffectively interpreting industrial instruments as and when requiredSupporting the HR Lead in developing and implementing HR services, corporate and strategic initiatives, policies, and projectsAbout You:We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Business Partner who has:Demonstrated HR generalist experience with strong business partnering skillsA tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology, Business Management, Law, or similarA sound understanding and knowledge of relevant employee relations legislation, awards, and contemporary workplace issuesA strong people focus with the ability to balance competing priorities and develop and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholdersStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levelsProven ability to manage multiple tasks while effectively prioritising and identifying key issuesKnowledge of and experience using Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)Ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment, with strong issues identification skills, as well as organisational and analytical skillsDemonstrated attention to detailAbility to work effectively under pressure without compromising on qualityAbility to contribute to proactive development and further enhancement of systems, processes, and deliverables within UmweltA high level of motivation and self-direction, as well as professional integrityFlexibility to travel (including interstate and intrastate)At Umwelt, we believe our people are our greatest asset, and a strong workplace culture is key to our success.
