In this role, you will apply advanced technical knowledge combined with integrated evidence-based practice skills and technical leadership in the instrumental, technical, developmental, and clinical interpretive aspects of general Chemistry testing within the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and Queensland Children's Hospital (RCH) campuses.

* You will be responsible for demonstrating expert-level technical knowledge, skills, and experience in immunoassay investigations.
* Theoretical knowledge and understanding of immunoassay principles and procedures are essential for success in this role.
* You will need to solve complex problems and show initiative in the workplace, driving service quality and improvement activities.
* High-level communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment, maintaining professional relationships, are crucial.
* You will develop technical competence in staff and students, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
* Familiarity with laboratory quality systems, NATA accreditation, and ISO certification is also required.
* Awareness of human resource management policies applicable to contemporary workplaces is essential.
