The role requires implementing and managing appropriate learning programs for students and assessing individual student progress. The Advanced Skills Teacher will assist the Principal in the general educational leadership, management, and administration of a particular sector of the school.
Duties:
1. Implement and manage appropriate learning programs for students.
2. Assess individual student progress.
3. Assist the Principal in educational leadership and management.
Period of Appointment: Ongoing - Start date of 3 February 2025
Hours per Fortnight: 70 hours
Minimum Requirements:
* Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005.
* A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment).
* Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
