Senior Hospital Occupational Therapist & Occupational Therapist December/January start – 6 month contract Accommodation available + travel Acute/Rehab/Hand Therapy available Several Occupational Therapists required for hospital-based roles in the Northern Territory.
You will join a team of 60 allied health clinicians, including other Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Chaplains, and ALO.

There are several options:
P2 or P3 level – acute focus.
The caseload is adult-based and may be tailored to suit experience including Renal, Ortho, Surgical, General Medical, ED, ICU, Stroke, and Palliative Care.
P2 or P3 level – rehab focus.
For a variety of conditions including Neuro, Stroke, Amputee, Ortho, Medical, and Brain Injury.
There is also scope for hand therapy to be part of the caseload if you have an interest in this area.
Join this large allied health team, including some of my other locums.
All have extended their time with this hospital.
The team is inclusive and social.
There is support and supervision available.
85% of the caseload is indigenous, with 50% coming in from remote communities.

P1 or P2 award rates up to $105,445 + super per annum depending on experience P3 award rates up to $121,738 + super per annum depending on experience Return travel reimbursed at completion of six-month contract (with receipts) Accommodation available starting at $140 per week Enjoy salary packaging, 6 weeks annual leave per annum and 3 weeks personal leave per annum (pro rata basis for 6 month contract), monthly flexible day negotiated with manager Full-time hours, Monday - Friday 6 month commitment preferred.
The location is a great base for exploring the natural wonders of the Outback including: Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges, the Larapinta Trail, the Simpson Desert, and the gorgeous NT watering holes.
