Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentives We are currently looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) to join a highly motivated team based at the Mount Isa Hospital in far North Queensland providing anaesthetic services within the North West Hospital and Health Service. The ideal candidate: Skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics is required. Scope of Practice in paediatric anaesthesia (5 years and younger) is desirable. An interest or experience in Intensive Care management of patients. An interest in, or experience in, regional anaesthesia and acute and/or chronic pain management. Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA). Current registration with/or eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia. Pro rata remuneration package (based on f/t equivalent value) from $525,850 up to $650,288 p.a. Base salary rates between $210,332 and $266,677 p.a. (f/t) (L18-L27) Attraction and retention incentive allowance 50% base p.a. salary Regional and rural attraction allowance 15% base p.a. salary Inaccessibility allowance of $34,500 p.a. Motor vehicle allowance 5 weeks p.a. annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful candidate.
