About the Role Project: Sustaining Capital Rail - Various heavy haul rail study and design projects for tier 1 clients. Location: Perth, WA Responsibilities Prepare schedules for design work and obtaining approvals for flow sheets and drawings. Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Obtain appropriate approvals for documentation including but not limited to calculations, specifications, variations, etc. Monitor and report on aspects of project quality, cost, and schedule. Monitor and identify risks to the project and drive implementation of appropriate controls and mitigations. Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, operations, EPCM service providers, and other contractors on an ongoing basis. Resolve potential issues or escalate them to the Project Manager. Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Requirements Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. 4-8 years of professional experience in project engineering and project management. Demonstrated experience working on mining and rail engineering projects. Understanding of heavy haul rail projects will be well-regarded. Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good relationships. Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe, and customer requirements). Ability to interpret and communicate technical information. #J-18808-Ljbffr
