This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager to join our team. You'll connect suppliers, marketing, sales, and support, shaping strategies and providing important insights. With your proactive approach and our innovative marketing strategies, you'll create demand for our products, helping us exceed our revenue goals.
Reporting to the Business Manager – Automation & ICT, the ideal applicant can be based in either Wetherill Park, NSW or Eagle Farm, QLD.
Duties & responsibilities:
Providing the IPD sales team with the necessary knowledge, technical expertise, resources, sales tools, and training material to enable them to maximise their success in securing opportunities for our range of Automation & Safely products and solutions.
Assisting sales specialists in understanding project technical requirements to optimise business outcomes.
Maintaining high technical knowledge of products and competitors.
Developing and implementing marketing plans, coordinating with the team for execution.
Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships while identifying growth opportunities and new product sources.
Experience & attributes:
Qualifications or equivalent experience in a technical discipline associated with automation and/Safety Technology
Understanding, and experience in brand or product management, ideally within a technical sales environment
Experience and industry knowledge in related markets and products.
High level of written and verbal communication skills
Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency in the management of KPI's, margins and sales figures;
Willingness to travel as required;
Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software;
Proven communication and negotiation skills;
Excellent time management and planning skills
Must have the ability to travel to clients
