Ventia's Carpenter position is based at our Anglo American Mine Site Camp in Moranbah, working a 8 day on, 6 day off roster, fly in- fly out, with meals and accommodation provided whilst on site. This is a full-time permanent salaried role of $108,473.71 plus superannuation, annual leave and sick leave are also accrued.
Responsibilities
1. Carpentry repairs & maintenance of camp assets, plant and equipment
2. Change-outs, minor demolition works and new installations
3. Communicate with customers and support other trades people to maximise customer satisfaction
4. Actively participate and support an environment of teamwork and excellence in performance
5. Complete all related paperwork e.g. timesheets, purchase orders, estimates, technical reports etc
6. Compliance with all Ventia SHEQ policies and procedures
Experiences & Qualifications
7. Carpentry License/Trade Qualification
8. Previous experience working in a building maintenance position
9. Experience with large volumes of assets and programmed servicing schedules
10. Post trade experience in a Mining/Commercial/Industrial environment is desirable
11. CPR – First Aid Training is desirable
12. Drivers License
