Paid Search (SEM) Specialist Role Location: Based in MelbourneType: Permanent roleCompany: Large Superannuation Business About the Role We are partnering with a Big 4 Australian Bank to source a number of Operational Risk Management positions in the Complaints, Remediation & Events Assurance team. You will play a key role in Line 1 risk management for the Customer Resolution, Remediation, and Assurance portfolio. You'll be responsible for contributing to end-to-end (E2E) value chain risk assessments, change management, events management, and control design. In this role, you'll work with key stakeholders to drive risk management initiatives, ensuring operational risks are managed and controls are continuously improved. What Your Day Will Look Like Your responsibilities will include: Facilitating and participating in Risk Management Forums (RMFs) and preparing specialist content for E2E forums. Leading workshops and developing risk management solutions across multiple portfolios and stakeholders. Building and maintaining strong relationships to enhance the E2E risk and control environment. Analysing, assessing, and reporting data trends to provide insights that drive risk management strategies. Supporting thematic reviews and event management to address key risk areas. Advising on internal audit responses and coordinating risk mitigation strategies across portfolios. Managing risk data completeness and quality in the NFR Hub, including reporting. Providing guidance on change risk assessments and helping implement risk treatment plans. Collaborating with business leaders to develop and execute remediation plans and enhance risk controls. Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline and automate control processes. Nice to Have (But Not Essential) Experience with complaints handling, remediation projects, and assurance activities. What You Will Bring To succeed in this role, you will ideally have: Experience in risk management, compliance, or internal/external audit. If you have a background in professional services this will be highly regarded. Strong collaboration skills, with experience working across multiple stakeholders to develop effective risk management solutions. The ability to analyse data and extract insights to inform risk management and business decisions. A strong understanding of how customers and bankers interact, embedding risk management into daily operations. A proactive approach to challenge the status quo and innovate risk and assurance solutions. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and adaptable approach.
