About The Role:
As an Operational Risk Analyst, you'll support the Senior Manager of Operational Risk. Deliver key risk advisory activities, reporting, and assurance support across various business units.
It is important for you to be comfortable influencing without authority and advising around best practices and new legislation such as CPS 230 standards.
Your work will play a key role in delivering activities that help the business understand and uplift capability and manage risks such as Operational Risk, Resilience, and Third Party Risk.
1. Develop content for operational risk reporting.
2. Support monitoring and reporting of key risk indicators and metrics.
3. Develop and train functions on risk management frameworks.
4. Advise on emerging risks and external changes.
5. Implement continuous improvement initiatives for effective risk reviews.
6. Promote a positive risk culture and support stakeholders on risk performance.
7. Become a leading advisor in operational risk and enterprise risk.
About the Candidate:
You will have a clear passion for Risk and Compliance and be able to communicate with clarity what is required and why it is important for the business to be an early adopter of these new Risk Frameworks.
1. Experience in operational risk, enterprise risk, or GRC.
2. Strong engagement skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
4. Proven ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with risk management systems.
