SA HealthJob reference: 892236Location: 5046 - OAKLANDS PARKJob status: Short Term ContractEligibility: Open to EveryoneSouthern Adelaide Local Health Network – Flinders Medical Centre – Ambulatory Allied Health ServiceSalary $104,180.00 - $111,746.00 (Pro Rata) | AHP3 – Contract Until March 2026Join our Ambulatory Allied Health team as a Senior Clinical Psychologist today!The Senior Clinical Psychologist works as a member of the multidisciplinary team collaborating with patients, other disciplines and relevant government and non-government organisations across services and sectors.The role will be responsible for delivering culturally appropriate, equitable, comprehensive, high quality and contemporary integrated care focused psychology services for patients in the Ambulatory Allied Health Service.About the role:Reporting to the Ambulatory Allied Health Service Team Manager, and the Director of Allied Health Acute Services via delegate, duties for this role will include:Providing high level evidence-based Psychological, Cognitive and Behavioural/Emotional assessment, diagnosis and appropriate treatment of mental health and psychological issues in patients with complex and chronic health issuesWorking within an interdisciplinary team-based model of care, liaising with other Health Professionals to ensure patient assessment and treatment is coordinated and appropriateProviding expert opinion, consultancy and psycho-education services to staff supporting patients with complex psychological or mental health issues to maximise self-management strategiesEnsuring documentation is consistent with service policy and practiceWorking collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including contributing professional clinical psychology expertise input across streams and facilitating complex multi-disciplinary service deliveryAbout you:Problem solve, time manage and apply specialist skills to complex issues relating to client therapy and the psychology serviceBe flexible, adaptive and responsive to change, aligning with key organisational priorities and particularly in an environment with competing demands and changing service partnersApply a high level of competence and extensive knowledge in psychometric assessment, research, and program designAppropriate Degree or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA and an endorsed area of practice in Clinical Psychology or Health PsychologyPlease see the attached Role Description for additional information.Want To Know More?
