This opportunity is suited to a motivated Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy team at Townsville University Hospital. As a rotational Occupational Therapist, you will be delivering Occupational Therapy clinical services as a member of a multidisciplinary team to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health. This opportunity will allow the appropriate person to join our rotational pool of occupational therapists for a 12 month rotation in paediatrics. We are seeking someone with experience and/ or skills transferable to paediatrics in one or more of the following clinica areas - burns management, procedural preparation, growth and development, surgical, plastics or intensive care. This exciting position provides a unique opportunity to develop specialist clinical skills in an acute paediatric setting across a 12-month timeframe. Generous remuneration package value up to $128,706 p.a. comprising: Salary range of $76,747 to $112,805 p.a. (HP3) annual leave with 17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation. Requirements The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. Proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty. Roster: This position is required to work on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis through the Department's Weekend Service.
