The Senior Occupational Therapist works within the Community Palliative Care multidisciplinary team including collaborating with the clinical team, patients, families and carers to support patients safely at home and avoid hospital admission. The position is provided formal supervision and is responsible for the supervision of rotating Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists working in the inpatient palliative care caseload of RPA Hospital.Ideal Candidate Has a bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher. Can demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
