An established and respected Aged Care provider is seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Residential Aged Care Home. About the Role
As the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the aged care home, leading a committed team to deliver exceptional care. The role involves ensuring all operational, financial, and governance requirements are met, while continuously improving the quality of services provided to residents. You will foster a resident-centered environment, while overseeing compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Information 156 Bed Nursing Home accommodating low and high care needsSalary: $165,000 + Super + Salary Packaging ($193k package)Structure: Facility Manager > 2x Care Manager > Quality & Education Coordinator > Nurses > Care Staff.Additional support: Clinical Nurse Specialist, Chef Manager, Laundry Team Lead, Maintenance Manager.Join a large and well-established not for profit provider! Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding care. Focus on staff development, workforce planning, and ensuring the team operates efficiently to meet operational needs.Work alongside the Regional Operations Manager to develop and manage the facility's budget, balancing financial stewardship with the need to maintain high-quality care standards.Ensure the facility complies with all accreditation standards, safety regulations, and legislative requirements. Lead initiatives that improve clinical practices and the physical environment of the home.Drive operational efficiencies while maintaining high-quality care, exceeding the expectations of residents and stakeholders alike.Ensure all regulatory requirements are met, including Aged Care Quality Standards and Work Health & Safety policies.Champion continuous improvement initiatives, addressing risk, managing change, and optimizing processes for both staff and resident care.Key Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Allied Health (Postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable)A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in aged care or health services, with senior operational management experienceProven leadership ability in managing multidisciplinary teams in residential aged care (60-100+ beds)Strong experience in financial management, including budget development and risk managementThorough knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and Australian Government Aged Care SubsidiesClick APPLY / To discuss further contact Calvin for a confidential chat:
