This role enhances the skills and knowledge of all team members across LSKD retail, distribution centre (DC), and headquarters (HQ) to onboard and develop hungry, humble, and smart team members who resonate with our culture. The ideal candidate will collaborate with external vendors to create tailored development pathways, ensuring that our workforce is equipped for success, as well as supporting new store openings and community events.In addition to creating and facilitating impactful programs and workshops, you will champion ongoing people and culture initiatives. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to get hands-on, build strong connections, and champion a welcoming and inclusive experience. This role is committed to our 1% Better Operating principles and has a relentless focus on scaling our business and culture simultaneously. You will also manage essential administrative tasks within our HRIS and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring that learning opportunities continue to evolve and support our organisational growth.Key Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAssist the Head of People and Culture in designing and implementing a cohesive learning and development strategy aligned with LSKD’s goals and values.Assess training needs across various departments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for growth.Onboarding Programs:Create and facilitate effective onboarding programs that immerse new hires in the LSKD culture, values, and processes.Ensure a smooth transition for new employees.Leadership Development:Develop and deliver engaging leadership workshops that cultivate skills necessary for current and future leaders.Assist with the creation of talent management processes to grow capability of team members and pipeline internal talent.In-House Training Development:Develop in-house training content that increases the skill levels of our teams, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and individual growth.Establish and maintain relationships with external training vendors and consultants to enhance learning offerings.Evaluate and discern appropriate training programs that align with our strategic goals.HRIS Administration:Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and program effectiveness.Program Evaluation:Use data-driven insights to continuously improve and adapt learning initiatives to meet organisational needs.Minimum Qualifications:A degree in Human Resources, Education, or a related field.Proven experience in learning and development, training facilitation, or a related role.Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.Proficiency in HRIS and learning management systems (LMS) preferred.Strong analytical skills to measure program effectiveness and ROI.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.A genuine interest in community engagement and creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture.Our StoryLSKD is an Australian-owned and operated brand that prides itself in producing high-quality functional sportswear with a street aesthetic.
