About the Role
This position offers a Registered Nurse or dual qualified midwife the opportunity to lead and manage Nursing and Midwifery Education at South West Healthcare. The successful applicant will be, responsible for ensuring nursing and midwifery education is innovative, adaptable, collaborative and empowers the nursing and midwifery workforce while aligning with organisational and regional strategies.

* Permanent, Full Time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO
* Commencing 30 April 2025
* Warrnambool Campus
* Classification: Educator - Course /Phase/ Inservice /Continuing Education
* Salary Range: $125,288 - $128,268, per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation

The successful applicant will
* Be a Registered Nurse or dual qualified Midwife with current AHPRA registration.
* Demonstrate strong leadership and management by ensuring collaborative, comprehensive, equitable Nursing and Midwifery education to promote excellence in patient care.
* Advances and advocates for Nursing and Midwifery research participation.
* Demonstrates knowledge of contemporary Nursing and Midwifery models and practices.
* Ability to lead a high-performing, adaptable, dynamic team that embraces and implements change.
* Be passionate about innovation and continuous improvement in Nursing and Midwifery education and in healthcare.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as proficient digital literacy skills with the ability to engage interdisciplinary and regional stakeholders.
* A relevant postgraduate qualification, master's qualification is desirable but not essential.
