What does the job look like?
We are looking for a Safety, Wellbeing & Compliance Advisor to support Linfox’s Resources & Industrial business for multiple operations across Western Australia. Working with some of our largest mining clients, this role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion. This role works a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth. Key areas:
* Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans
* Embed a risk-based approach with a focus on every day, critical and psychosocial risks
* Coach and mentor leaders through a combination of site visits, facilitated training and workshops
* Develop and maintain the system with a focus on risk, health, compliance and customer expectations
* Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions
* Measure and report on performance, trends and outcomes
Are you the one?
You enjoy a hands-on role coaching, influencing, mentoring and providing specialist workplace health and safety advice to workers and leaders to drive safety across our sites. Your ability to work in an open, collaborative and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role. You can demonstrate:
* Leadership experience in safety, health and wellbeing and/or other risk-based role
* Experience working in Safety Advisor role & Cert IV WHS minimum requirement
* Deep and practical understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing and resources industry
* Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs
* Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations
* Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation
* Ability to develop and present results, plans and updates to leadership teams and customers
