About your new role:
These casual positions, based in Albany - WA's Great Southern Region at our Bethel facility with 85 residents, where you will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team and other stakeholders within the facility. This position is responsible for the provision of person-centered, individual care to residents. Working as part of our dedicated team means you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our residents pursuing their unique personal goals and passions, enabling them to live full and meaningful lives.
Duties:
15. Promote the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents
16. Ensure person-centred support and support plans are at the forefront of everything you do
17. Partnering with residents to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life
18. Coordinate with other staff to achieve outcomes and liaise directly with nursing staff regarding any specific health concerns
19. Support with everyday activities such as; EatingPersonal hygiene tasks (such as bathing, dressing, personal care)MobilityHousehold tasksLeisure activities
Skills and Experience:
20. You must be living in the Albany region - no international applicants will be considered
21. Ability to engage residents though a person-centered approach to care and support
22. Works well and contributes effectively within a team environment.
23. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
24. Hold a Certificate III/working towards attaining one (desirable) or willingness to obtain one
25. Willingness to obtain or provide proof of up-to-date 2023 Influenza & three COVID-19 Vaccinations
26. Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
27. Ability to pass a National Police Check
