We are looking for someone with previous experience in gardening/ horticulture, with a range of skills to complete a variety of jobs.
Based within our Property Services Team, you will start and finish at our Maintenance Shed located at Booragul. Working within a team, you will be provided tools and have use of an Anglican Care vehicle to transport you to various sites throughout the day.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Perform routine garden and maintenance tasks on all Newcastle Anglican properties, including mowing, pruning and general garden maintenance.
* Inspect and maintain equipment in a clean and tidy condition and ensure regular service takes place. Where such is outside the technical capacity or qualifications, escalate to your Supervisor and support in procuring contracted trades for the external repair/services required.
* Undertake required administrative work, including maintaining accurate records of work completed, repairs. Effective use of Mex service workflows.
* Ensure all duties are carried out in a safe and professional manner.
* Proactive communication of potential disruption to services and liaising with residents where this may occur.
About you:
* Strong teamwork with the ability to work on your own or with others
* Good communications skills & be able to relate to older persons
* Punctual and reliable
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Certification III in horticulture (desirable)
