What You'll Do
The Supervisor Visitor Experience (Extended Hours) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing visitors to Melbourne Gardens through leadership of the Visitor Experience team, during late afternoons and evenings across the daylight savings period. The role ensures the safety and security of Melbourne Gardens and develops the Visitor Experience team to achieve highly effective and efficient visitor engagement through roaming activities and incident response in line with RBGV emergency response protocols.
Acting as Chief Warden for the site, this role will be responsible for coordinating responses to incidents and liaising with emergency services as required.
Two part time positions are available with the following roster:
Position 1: Sunday – Tuesday, 3pm – 8pm (15 hours per week)
Position 2: Wednesday – Saturday, 3pm – 8pm (20 hours per week)

What You'll Bring
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience managing a customer service team in a significant cultural, scientific, tourism or heritage organisation. You have a strong history in leading, organising and motivating teams to achieve success and hit branch targets. You can respond calmly and professionally to high-pressure or emergency situations in a public environment, and you are able to utilise sound decision-making skills to ensure a safe and positive outcome. You take pride in your work, delivering top-quality customer service to key stakeholders using your sound communication and interpersonal skills.
