What you'll do:
As a Human Resource Advisor, your role will be pivotal in supporting the region in all facets of human resource management services and activities. You will consult with managers, team leaders and employees on a daily basis, providing expert advice on a wide range of complex human resource issues. Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to best practices and quality standards within the team.
1. Provide advice to stakeholders on positive performance management and discipline issues
2. Undertake research and analysis of human resources legislation, directive and policies
3. Deliver presentations and information sessions on human resource initiatives
4. Support leadership capability, performance management, workforce planning and organisational culture agenda
5. Drive excellence in recruitment by participating as a panel member, providing procedural advice, advertisement placement and management of pre-employment screening, appointment processing and onboarding
6. Produce timely, accurate and professional documents to support human resource functions and decisions
7. Build and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
8. Contribute to best practices and quality standards in the human resources team through the development of customer request timeframes, expectations and task deadlines
