As the Technical Service Manager (Field) at Farmmark Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical operations and field service activities for our clients across Bundamba, QLD and the surrounding region. This full-time position requires an experienced professional who can effectively manage a team of technicians, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality maintenance and repair services.
What you'll be doing
1. Coordinate and oversee the activities of the field service team, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring
2. Provide technical guidance and support to the technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete their work efficiently and to the highest standards
3. Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop customised solutions
4. Manage the procurement and inventory of parts and equipment needed for field operations
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, safety protocols, and training initiatives
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure a seamless and integrated service experience
7. Prepare detailed reports and analysis on field service activities, metrics, and customer feedback
8. Installation, as well as repair, service and maintenance of new and used equipment specialising in SKOV equipment
9. Manage commissioning of new installations of SKOV Technology Operating Systems
What we're looking for
1. Substantial experience (5+ years) as a technical service manager or in a similar leadership role within the trades and services industry
2. Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of various equipment and systems
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centric service
5. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experience with field service management software
7. Relevant qualifications in a technical discipline or field service management would be an advantage
