About the role:
Knauf Gypsum is looking for an enthusiastic and confident candidate to join us as a Customer Service Operator. The role reports to the Trade Store Manager. This is a great opportunity to join our high performing trade store in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
The successful candidate be responsible for providing exceptional customer service throughout the daily operations at the Service Centre in accordance with the Company’s strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures, and policies. Ensuring responsibilities are completed on time and correctly

The role involves all aspects of working with customers to deliver customer specific tactical solutions promotions and in-store activations.

Responsibilities:
* Dealing with Customers face-to-face & over the phone
* Regularly check & create orders
* Receipting, unloading, storing and designating stock items
* Ensuring customer orders are picked and packed with high accuracy
* Submitting all documents that are related to the outgoing of goods
* Maintaining accuracy in all paperwork and delivery quantities
* Carrying out quality control checks on picked items including counting and recording finished goods stock figures
* Record and report any customer complaints to the Trade Stores Manager regarding product and / or service via Knauf's complaint and customer procedures
* Undertaking stock take activities including daily variance checks and end of period stock take
* Maintain physical condition of warehouse including keeping work areas clean & tidy
* Picking & Packing orders (if required)
* General warehouse duties & house keeping
Must have:
* Excellent customer service skills and responsibilities
* Good communication skills (Written & Verbal)
* Good phone skills and ability to multi task
* Team player, attention to detail, time management and organization skills
* Enjoys working in a team environment
* Microsoft Office skills to complete operational tasks
* Picking, packing and dispatching experience would be good
* Identifies development opportunities for self and team
* A current forklift license is advantageous or willing to obtain
